On September 11, the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS) hosted Rebecca Lemos Igreja, Secretary-General of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO), for the 82nd edition of its "Global Vision Lecture Series." She delivered a keynote speech titled "Cross-Regional Knowledge Sharing: Forging Cooperation in the Global South."

Before the lecture, UCASS Party Committee Secretary Xu Jincheng accompanied the guest on a tour of the Key Laboratory of Scientific Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Conservation Lab of CASS. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics of shared interest. Liu Guoxiang, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of History and Director of the National Museum of Chinese Archaeology, provided detailed explanations during the visit.
